Hello Mercyhurst!

Currently I'm on residency at Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA, and everyone has been great. The faculty is friendly and the students have picked up the classes with no hesitation. Good luck everyone for the upcoming concerts!

I've graduated!!!

This past weeekend I finally graduated from The Ohio State University. And considering it was a summer commencement, it was still pretty large with 1800 grads walking. I'd like to say thanks to all who were able to come to Schmidt's to celebrate! There will be pictures up soon!

Preparing for Graduation...Oh Wait

So those of you who know me know that I usually have a pretty good memory for the details, but apparently not this week.
I graduate from OSU this Sunday and on Tuesday night I realized that I forgot to preorder my cap and gown. Now I've known about graduation for months, and I've been helping my family plan a party for afterwards, but for some reason I never thought about what I was going to be wearing. Maybe just my comfy jeans and my "I'm a Dancin' Machine" t-shirt.
Luckily they had extras ordered in the bookstore and I actually got the last one for my college. Yeah, I'm a master of somethin' alright.

Hello all! Some friends of mine have some great videos they've posted that you need to see.

Public Service Announcement

I'm going to make a goal to help the community in some small way once week, and I'm taking you all with me. Here's the first one:
A friend of mine is going to Arizona in October to do the 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer. Not all of us may have breast cancer in our families but we have probably been effected by it somehow (friends, teachers, etc.).
Visit her website (to your right under friends) because she needs to raise $2200 for her trip.
Keep in mind that she'll be roughin' it with others (in tents and all), and it's all for a worthy cause.
